This policy explains how information is handled when you visit blanka.lol, a personal portfolio maintained by Blanka. For privacy questions, email hello@blanka.lol.
Information processed when you visit
The website has no visitor accounts, comment area, or contact form. Its code does not include an analytics tracker. As with most websites, the hosting or content-delivery provider may process technical request data such as your IP address, browser, requested page, referrer, and visit time to deliver and protect the site. Log collection and retention depend on that provider.
If you email me, I receive the information in your message and use it to respond. Your email provider may also process that message under its own privacy policy.
Third-party resources
The portfolio loads some resources and widgets from other providers. When your browser requests them, those providers may receive technical request data (including your IP address, browser details, and the page that made the request) and may handle it under their own policies.
- Google Fonts: the portfolio home page loads its typeface from Google Fonts. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Advertising: the home page includes Google AdSense code. Whether ads are shown depends on site approval and AdSense account settings. If ads are served, Google and the ad partners enabled in AdSense may process information for ad delivery, measurement, and personalization. The partners can change; their current selection is managed in AdSense. See Google’s ad-partner information.
- Now-playing widget: the page requests public track information for the displayed Last.fm account from the Last.fm recent-track proxy. It may send the artist and track name to Apple’s iTunes Search API and MusicBrainz to find artwork or a music link; artwork may load from the Cover Art Archive. See Last.fm, Apple, and MusicBrainz.
- Sugar-glider photos: the photo carousel searches Wikimedia Commons and loads selected thumbnails from Wikimedia’s file hosts. The source page, creator information when available, and license are shown with each photo. See the Wikimedia Foundation privacy policy.
- CodeWeavers profile: the page refreshes public profile details through the Jina AI text proxy from the linked CodeWeavers profile. That request is made to Jina AI and may include normal browser request data.
- Kopuz GitHub stars: the home page requests the public star count for the Kopuz repository from GitHub’s API on load and periodically while open. GitHub may receive normal browser request data. See GitHub’s privacy statement.
- External badge: one friend-site badge image is loaded from kopuz.moe.
Following links to other sites, including Clippsly, Roblox, CodeWeavers, or Formal Snake, takes you to those providers; their privacy policies then apply.
Cookies and advertising choices
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this site or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. If other ad partners are enabled in AdSense, their cookies or similar technologies may also be used to serve ads.
You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also visit aboutads.info to learn about opting out of some participating third-party vendors. Google explains its advertising technologies in its ads policy.
The portfolio code does not set its own cookies or use browser local storage. Google or other third-party providers may use cookies or similar technologies when their services load. For personalized ads to users in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, Google requires a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. That account-level consent setup is not controlled by this static page’s code; see Google’s consent-management requirements.
Your choices and privacy requests
